This online auction and ongoing fundraiser is a social distance-friendly event to help sustain GLAF during these challenging times.
GLAF has partnered with BetterWorld to manage our online auction. We are celebrating our local artists who have donated their work to support the mission of GLAF to bring high-quality performing arts and arts education to the community we serve. The highest bid’s donation will go towards directly towards GLAF and our mission.

Artist: Caroline Blizzard
Caroline has had a lifelong interest in studying nature. She grew up in LaVale, Maryland and has been a resident of Garrett County since 1993. As a naturalist for the last 30 years, Caroline has honed her skills of observation of nature. Her photography business began after receiving a camera as a present from her grandparents. Shortly after, both her grandmother and grandfather passed away. This personal experience moved Caroline to use photography as a way to express the hope and beauty found within nature. Combining this motivation with her love and knowledge of the out of doors, Caroline is able to see nature in a unique way. Her passion for nature and photography has led her to many unique places in the world including, The Galapagos Islands, multiple trips to the over- wintering sites of the monarch butterfly in the mountains of Mexico and deep into the Amazon rainforest of Peru. She also shoots and highlights the natural wonders found in Garrett County including the Counties vast wildlife and birds.
